    @nartmot which ram mounts did you use? I’ve been puzzling over this. Got mine installed (I’ll have to see if I had the distortion you described, didn’t notice it at the time) and waiting to be used properly.

    Just FYI, you can truncate anything in Amazon links after the ASIN number slash as well as anything inserted before the /dp/ or /gp/ (usually the product name) as these are just trackers for search terms, cart links, or other backtracks.

    Got mine installed today. Easy peasy.

    The dash component removed. Pulls right out.

    Installed, you can see the gap in the left 'pointy' end. This was intentional so the rear edge of the mount bar didn't push too far back from the edge of the dash bezel piece.

    I actually don't have any RAM components yet. I'll get a couple of the balls, one of the short arms and a cell phone holder to start. I may not really have much else I'll mount on this... maybe occasionally a tablet? We'll see. I still like having it there.

    I’ll probably pull it off and paint it black next time I pull the dash apart. For now the aluminum actually looks okay since I haven't blacked out all the chrome bits yet. Plus I’m short so I can’t really see it anyways. :yay:

    Bought a 1/4”x1”x4’ piece from ACE (closer to my house than HD/Lowes) for $15.....With more homework I’d be willing to bet dollars to donuts that you could buy a smaller piece from a machine shop for next to nothing. I figured I’d need the extra length cause I’m more of a cut thrice measure never kinda guy. Surprisingly I got it on the first try.
