Intake manifold spacers do little to nothing on a efi can like ours. You are better of getting a proper comd air intake, exhust, headers. Something that will actually make a difference. I run an AFE intake on my truck and i love the quality of it and its carb legal.

This spacer does lower the peak torque curve so you hit it faster, Its the same thing headers do. A while ago the guy who originally made it did tons of tests including dynos to come up with the design.

Wher is the dyno chart that proves that.

By itself, that intake spacer currently on offer, does little in performance gain. Reading over the various dyno-tests, i interpret it as complimenting and enhancing existing intake/exhaust changes already made.

A 250 rpm drop in the torque curve, in my case, would improve overall acceleration and driveability on the highway .. which accounts for 90% of my mileage.

If you say so. Ive never seen an actual dyno chart. And never actually head of one doing anything on a efi engine like ares. Carbarated engines yes. i would actually like to see dyno charts. It also matters what kind of dyno it was tested on and how built the engine is. Also if the dyno run was done a full open throttle to get those results its kinda useless because as a DD you not driving full open throttle to get the benefits.

Whelp i stand corrected, but still the impact is so small I couldn’t justify paying for one. But if thats what you want then by all means buy it. Your truck build how you want it.

By itself - yes, it's basically useless - not good bang for the buck. If you've got other work already done, it's an optimization.

I see it maybe helping with intake, headers and exhust. But by such a small amount its not worth it to me imo
