alright guys im looking at doing a trip to Raleigh NC to get my bearing changed out. looking at wheeling and camping around there. anybody interested? days will be April 22-25

 

Any 2nd gen people that need some sliders? I ordered some Trail-Gear bolt/weld on sliders thinking I could fab them to fit a 3rd gen, but they seem like they are way too short.

 

What cab configuration?

They are only short by a couple inches on each end. I'd use them...hardly noticeable

Hey all. I mostly lurk. Forums are bad for my wallet. Anyway, I have the OEM radio out of my 17 Sport that's been sitting around the garage for a while. It's Premium that has navigation. Other than an GPS antenna I have no clue what it would take to get this to work in other trucks. I'm in Manassas. Come and get it for $75. I'm too lazy to post it in the marketplace and deal with shipping.

 

Dang. You can get them closer to spec than that with just eyeballing it.
Move the rear cams all the way out to give you your max caster, then adjust the front cams until it looks close to 0° camber. Then have someone hold the steering wheel straight while you adjust the toe with the tie rod ends...Just move the out until the front and rear edges of the tire look even with the rear tires. Then you'll be safe to drive it to the alignment shop

I was going to get it close by measuring the front edges of the front tires and then the rear edge and adjusting till I had close numbers but my buddies alignment rack is 1/2 mike down the road. And I am tired of dicking with it today. It’s the simplest things that turn into to biggest headaches.
