You can get some pretty good bikes at reasonable prices now - almost every mountain bike from any main manufacturer now comes with disc brakes and aluminum frame. If you can push your budget closer to $800-$1000 you can really get a trail ready hardtail that will last and let you grow into the bike skill wise.

Second time I’ve seen this truck in for service. Has more done to it this time too. Fully setup for overlanding. Has the OME BP-51 suspension, sliders, skids, all the good stuff.

 

Fortunately I can get away with a degree of smartassery at the second job

My wife asked the sushi chef at a local place where HE goes for sushi...Kind of an inside baseball/ inception question and he said Oga's in Natick. We hit it a month ago and were very impressed. It was FULL of Japanese people. Always a good sign. Great food, a little pricey but that's what you get with sushi
