I remember when tires for 16" wheels were cheaper than 17". Seems to be the other way around now.

Think I may go this route https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/setup-tpms-sensors-cheaply-using-tis.397820/ It's like 20 bucks to get the reading on what the current ones are and then ill write the codes down then when the new ones come in write down the codes and manually put those in. Not sure what else I can do with the 20 dollar setup from Amazon.

That's where I'm probably ordering my new commuter tires from. ~$1050 for 5 - 285's :anonymous: at that price it would be a crime not to get them...

I have two sets with different TPMS and use an Ateq Quickset to swap the sensors.

I need front brakes soon. Think I'm going with oem rotors (if I need rotors) and ebc greenstuff.

I need to do my front brakes also. Pedal feels solid, but the stopping power isn't what it used to be.

I hoping I don't need to do rotors but I don't need nothing fancy if I do. Pads are different, I would like a modest upgrade.

I could probably get by with out needing new rotors... but might as well do them at the same time.

Definitely looking for a bump in performance from the pads. Dont mind a little dust. Ive had good luck with Hawks on my 510 and my Subarus, so thinking about maybe going that route.

Depends... I've done mine three times already... Once due to a warped drum, sticking ebrake cable the second time, and now seeping axle seals...

These were swapped out in October before my SC trip. Haven't looked at them since swapping in new ones. Front one is toast and the bottom of the rear was toast but still had decent meat otherwise

We use Wurth sensors. You can program any ID to them so we just copy the IDs of the OEM sensors that way both sets of wheels have the same Ids.

I have different codes for each set and use a Chinese version of the Toyota software to reprogram the ECU if I feel like it. I bought my wheels and tires from Discount Tire Direct online and they didn't offer cloned sensors. If they did, I would have gone that route.
