Interesting turn of events.. got 17mpg this last tank. I was averaging around 16-16.5 on my 265s, and so far on 315s I've gotten 16,16, and 17 on the last 3 fill-ups. Guess the larger circumference, minimal weight increase, and super low RPMs are working magic haha. I haven't changed my driving style at all.
So far I haven't found a single downside to 35s and 4:10s on an A/T, we'll have to see how hill descents feel offroad.

    Diff breather mod done... Finally.

Should conclude truck mods for LBL. Got a few I'd like to get to when I get back, preferably before my next trip April 5, but truck is in good shape for now

Hit a local mud hole to test things out. No leaks! Got in pretty deep too, can't find a drop anywhere. Tub clears pretty well too. Definitely a lot quieter in the cab with the floor back in haha.
Also, 35s feel amazing in the dirt. Made it through a ditch I used to have a lot of trouble with without any problems too. Looking forward to LBL

Alternator finally went out. Not even mad, it's the original with 245k miles on it and a lot of abuse. I'm pretty impressed

Some like hitting mudholes and some like technical crawling. Different strokes for different folks.

Unfortunately the alternator placement makes them super succeptable to water and mud intrusion on the 3.4 and 2.7.

    I'm just being a pecker :D

I kinda like somewhere in between for wheeling. Not built for straight mud. Not built for crawling.

I was going to say that but I’ve been told that I can be a bit harsh so I was toning things down a bit :D

I agree. This is the exact reason I don't like bombing mud holes usually; but when that's what it comes to, I ain't no pussy :p
Also going to have to replace my idler pulley and maybe the ac compressor pulley. Fuck mud.

Awesome thanks dude, I'll order that. Probably going to just pull the ac/idler belt and leave it off until I get spare time (after windrock)

Didn't want to miss the picture :anonymous:
Probably would've avoided this damage too because a lot of it probably came from 356/7
