What a great idea. Customizing the cook ware. Love it.

Sounds like i might have to give it a shot then. I have some stuff thats just a bit to big to fit in the blasting cabinet but pulling out the pressurized unit is a pain in the butt for a smaller piece.

I have the 110lb pressurized unit and it is a bit finky and really needs some upgrades. But Ive used it quite a bit now and it works great. I got a different "gun" for it and also found it really works best with fine media. Medium grit media was iffy

I just realised the HF Stubby wrench he tested is different from the one I purchased and as currently offered:

    As shown in YouTube test:

    and here:

    As currently available at HF:

Note shorter nose casing--Same SKU (63534) but different tools the one tested is much more like my husky H4435

I guess I never realized they were different either.

    Thanks.

This is my haul from this morning. I'm rewiring an xs650. Pics only have to be good a few times. broke the tips off my advance auto set long ago. Had to sift through the pile of mini pliers to find one that closes evenly without a gap. The fuses i hope will be good enough for my bike. I may carry extras just in case. The wire cutters I am very impressed with. the cut very smooth and strip very well. very sharp. I'm impressed. As long as i don't abuse them they should last a while.

I think he mentions that he would not be suprized if the model changed based on how good it was.

Bought a $20 torque wrench to do my shocks. Worked pretty good.

Yes, I heard that and think he was correct--it was too good--they got back to the maker and asked that the cost be cut a bit...

The 301 piece tool kit. When it’s on sale for $160. I have two. One that stays in the box in the raptor for runs. The other one I took out and filled my tool chest.

I grabbed a box of their rubber grommets last week for a project, they don't seem to be very good quality though, they're stiff and do not like being forced into a hole in which they should fit. I also grabbed the free headlamp which I gave to one of my cousins. I didn't open the package but he seemed happy to get it (he's seven).

Their air tools have been hit and miss for me, as well as their zip ties. Trailer dolly I bought there works great for dragging my pop up in and out of the garage. Over the years I've gone through a plethora of tools, but to this day, my Chicago Electric impact wrench I bought probably 10 or 12 years ago has been beaten and used to hell and back and just won't die. I swear by that thing. That being said, my buddy bought one not long after I got mine, and it's horrid. /shrug

I was just looking at the torque wrenches. Might pick one up.

Damn they were 20 bucks at my HF. I'm going to wait for warmer weather before I buy one though. Maybe if I keep checking I'll get lucky.

Maybe. It was a parking lot sale.

They will be fine for small engines at the house.
I’ll double check them against my snap on’s

Yea I'm on the mailing list. I went to pick up an axe but got distracted by the torque wrenches. I'll wait until I have a coupon.

I've had one of those for a bit longer--it's a exact clone of (homage to) an old Black & Decker Industrial design from the late 70s:
