From what ive been told, you can use the stock coils with bilstiens but it affects ride quality at top notch. Therefor limitations of 1.55” on second top notch. Basically, the coils are designed for certain hieghts and wieghts. Stock is meant for stock, so too much lift and it affects ride quality. The ome coils are designed to do all the lifting cuz bilstiens set at 0. All about strength of coil and rude quality. Do it right once. Im sure guys can do it with stock coils, so up to you

That clears up so much. So then you could do those could coils with bilsteins adjusted and get even higher?
What's the lowest it'll go with the ome coils?

The coils will give you 2.5-3” lift. You still need the bilstiens cuz stock isnt designed for that much lift. Just think the bilstiens and ome coils are designed fir lift whereas stock shock and coil isnt. Sure you can use it, but ride quality gets affected if you either keep stock coil or shock with the lift

Ok cool. So if I want like a 2.5 inch lift I can do the 887, then if it sags say if I add a bumper I can just change the notch on the 5100 right?

    Thread jack!

    kind of...

I’m about to pull the trigger on a set of 5100’s all around. My goal is to level off and gain about 1-1.5” lift. I have a 2018 TRD Sport DCSB. I put wheels on and I plan to put a C4Fab front bumper on as well.

My question is will I gain the desired lift with just the 5100’s, or do I need anything more?

    Thanks!

Yes you should be fine with just bilstiens set at 2nd last notch which is about 1.55”. Anything higher, advise to upgrade coil as well

Oh ok. I'm not sure if I will get one but if I do can't I just adjust the bilsteins?
