    Timing chain is fine. They rarely go bad. Water pump is a consumable item along with radiators.

    Price is the same for a rad flush vs just a new rad. $100 give or take for a new aftermarket rad.

    Make absolutely sure there's no rust holes in the frame. Especially look at the boxed sections near the cats. Since it's from Canada, it's not covered by the US frame waranty extension.

    Also check to see if the odometer is in kilometers. It can not be switched to miles.

    There are importing companies that take care of the speedometer conversion. They change the speedo face to have big MPH numbers and convert the odometer to miles. Mine came from Canada and it has a Canadian tach(different text for RPM and cat whisker taillight indicator). I was able to confirm that they did the conversion of the odometer correctly from kilometers to miles.
