Thanks for the interest guys, and now that i think about it my neck is kind of stiff this morning hahaha. My insurance is going to cover the everything including the rental and refund my deposit once the claim has been settled. they will be suing the company for the damages.

How do they screw up an even balanced load like that? Somebody didn't take their OSHA required forklift training.

Just for fun, turn the incident into Cal OSHA, bet they would get fined for that.

    This

During our noreastah in MA some chick parked 6 inches away from my truck and swung her door open in high winds... didnt see the dent until 2 days after... during the same storm piece of plastic siding flung past my truck and scratched up the side pillar and a bit of the roof and put a small hole in my bed cover. and this morning some dump truck hauling wood had a board fly off and smack the bottom of my front bumper and i ran over it (no damage from that one from what i could see...)

yeah we buy great trucks but get shit for luck in return. Guess its the way the world balances the force with us...

Have insurance cut you a nice check and then fix it yourself on the cheap, mod money to spare.

Did you ask them to hook you up with a solar panel for your overlanding?

    Not enough to list
Comprehensive should cover it. I'd be pissed mostly at why the fuck were they unloading something right next to my truck. Really no other place to backup and unload cargo?

And that's all just dandy,EXCEPT your insurance is going too raise your rate, now that you made a claim reguardless that you had nothing too do with it,if you don't think so,wait a month after everything is fixed.
