There are plenty here that know more than I, but maybe I can help. OME springs come with a +, -, or a 0. Plus means it is slightly above spec, and minus means that it is slightly below spec but still good to go. 0 means it is exactly on spec. I think what you are measuring is not a Dakar issue but a Tacoma issue. It is usually referred to as Tacoma Lean. I am told that with aftermarket lifts the lean will often go away over time. If it is a drastic lean that can't be called normal for our trucks, you might have an issue with the shackle binding, but I'm guessing it's par for the course. You might want to put some weight in the back and drive your truck around for a bit. This is supposed to "settle" the rear.

Tell me more about "shackle binding". Not sure what that is and how to check for it. Thanks.

Dr. Funker, I had some friends help me install the rear leafs and shocks. Normally when I do something the first time I watch video a few times and double check every step. My leafs came with no instructions but it appears we followed what others have done. When I measured my rear height I freaked out a little and called DSM. They were very nice, but he wasn't sure why I had 4 inches of rear lift. He did however mention that shackle binding is not uncommon, especially with poly-bushings. Using my Google-fu I was able to find a few threads. Here is one with a video: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-suspension-binding-w-video.501234/ You'll notice he was flexing quite a bit.

I went back and checked the torque on both shackle bolts and both sides. While my friends were speedy they were using an impact and they didn't use much lube. These two things lead to binding, and I wanted a permanent solution -- even when flexing -- so I ordered . I have them waiting to go on tomorrow. I'll torque them down to the specs on the OME sheet, 60 ft/lbs, and then grease and re-torque the front bolts. I'll let you know how it works for me.

I acquired EL095 package and b110's from Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. Great customer service! Thanks again!

I accompanied this setup with +4" brake lines from @OCTaco. Great lines, easy instillation, working great and looking good. Thanks again for the easy transaction!

I have a 2011 Tacoma 4cyl 4x4 with an ARE cap. The EL095 have OME poly bushings, 3* shims and wheeler's bump stops. This instillation was done 11/18/17, 11 days ago.

    Rear Measurements:
    Before: Driver: 19 3/4"" Pass: 20 1/4"
    After: Driver: 24" Pass: 24 1/2"
*Please note: these measurements were taken with a full fuel tank.

No vibrations to this point through all rpm and speed ranges.

Any update on the ride? Are those 34's in that photo? I currently have the 5100 eibach set up. Is the OME a stiffer ride?

Possible Dakar question, I just got the TRD pro kit in (2nd gen bilstein) and am needing a rear leaf.

2015 DCLB Sport with shell (200lb)

    Front lift will be 1.75"

What configuration in the Dakar pack will get me close to 2"?

It seems like most people get 3" from the start, and assuming with my shell I would lose about 1/4" of height, could I remove one of the overloads and get close to 2-2.25"?

A TRD OR built into a Baja/PRO hybrid
    Currently running the following:

TRD Baja Suspension front and rear.
    Wheeler's Extended Stainless Brake Lines.
TRD Baja (shorter) front bump stops.
Timbren Active Off-Road rear bumpstops with U-bolt Flip.
OME Dakar EL095R with top (bigger) overload removed, giving me a total of four leafs and one overload.

Measurements are approx and hub to fender with an empty bed:

    Front: 22"
    Rear: 23.5"

The Dakar's replaced a worn out stock 3+1 rear leaf pack running an Icon 3-leaf AAL with overload removed. That setup measured 23" hub to fender initially, but over time sagged to 22".

    More info in build thread

thoughts on 6112/5160 settings + dakars: 3rd setting yields 1.59" lift for the fronts according to bilstein, w/ dakars + 3rd leaf down removed is best? canopy likely in the near future but until then ~100 lbs of tools/toolbox. Looks like one DCLB example yielded 23 7/8"? Stock i'm sitting 21 1/4" (spacers up front currently).

if i'm getting the math right thats about 2 1/2" lift in back. seems too high for 3rd setting on 6112's

All Pro u-bolt flip kit, TJM Compressor (permanently mounted), Custom rack for the RTT over the bed, Tepui Kukenam RTT, Toyota Bed Mat, Cobra 75 WX ST CB Radio, and a lot of gear behind the seats.
Is anyone running the Bilstein 5160's with the Dakar's?

2007 AC Prerunner V6 with the 6-speed. I'm replacing the factory pre-TSB leafs. The only extra weight is a set of sliders.

I'm running the light-duty EL095R with the overload removed. Both springs have the "O" marking. After the lift I drove it around for about 30 miles before taking measurements.

    Pre-Dakar: 22-1/4"
    With Dakar: 24-0"
    Lift height: 1-3/4"

This matches the front with 5100s set a 0" with OME 883 springs.

Had my frame and leafs recently replaced and man are the springs crap . Lost my 1” rake and the left rear is almost an inch lower than right rear Not happy and that is with my Wheelers 2” AAL . So dealer said bring it back and they will try and correct it . But I’m thinking the only right move would be to install Dakar’s .

Are these averages primarily with a stock height front end?
