Monster Valve Install on F5 question

    @SCSPerformance I have a set of Power Tank Monster Valves I am getting ready to install on a set of 16x8 4.5" BS F5s and was wondering if you had any tips for where I should install them. They say to install them opposite the regular step for wheel balancing reasons but I'm wondering if there is a section of the wheel that would be better due to thickness or areas to avoid. My primary concerns are don't have it too far out and rip it off while wheeling or too far in where it gets in the way of the brake calipers.
    Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    To be honest, I've never need these valves in person, but they do look pretty cool as far as how they function. I would want to get them away from the outer edge of the lip as possible so you can't accidentally knock them out when you're offroading. I would follow what the valve manufacture recommends doing and do as suggested.

    Thanks for the response. I'm mostly concerned with a section of the wheel that is thicker than the rest that I should avoid or the opposite, where drilling a hole could affect integrity.

    how about just using the predrilled valve stem hole? enlarge it if need and tada!

    System needs a Schrader valve to check pressure, monster Valve is just to get air in and out.
