Im pretty sure that there is already a thread. I need to find exactly what bulbs I need to swap all my factory bulbs to LED in my 2009 Tacoma. Can someone point me in the right direction. I thought I had seen a list somewhere but cant seem to find it.

Make sure you use a projector housing. LED bulbs in halogen housings just throw light everywhere and blind oncoming vehicles.

Not sure that is quite true. Are you sure you are not confused with a HID conversion.

OP check the 2nd gen marketplace and look for Jumper’s thread. He has all sorts of LED lights.

That isn’t entirely true. And actually may be worse in a projector. Watch the “headlight revolution top led bulb shootout” on YouTube. Very very informative with proof.

The LEDs I ran were brighter than HIDs. Oncoming traffic was constantly flashing me and I had my headlights properly aimed.

I may be wrong but those are not typical results.

I think you're confusing "brighter" with "more glare." Most LED headlight replacement bulbs deliver a significant dose of glare for oncoming drivers - even if they're "aimed properly." And I should note that there really is no way to aim them so as to eliminate the excess glare and be able to see down the road. Plenty of threads here on why slapping LED bulbs into housings designed for a different type of bulb is a bad thing - as you found out.

I have HID's so i'm not looking to do the headlights. just the taillights and all other exterior lights.
