One of the main reasons I bought my 2nd gen was looking forward to eventually putting an OEM supercharger on it. I was super disappointed when they stopped partnering with Magnuson for a Toyota backed option. I think Magnuson will come through for the third gen but I highly doubt it will be with Toyota’s support.

I see his link to that thread in it, and also that it's a v8 ls swap, which explains that nice exhaust note!

I'm not even sure if such a thing is possible, or just madmax fantasy, but yeah....it would be the cat's ass to be able to shift it in and out.

I don't know man, if I had the money to drop on a supercharger I may just go another bit further and grab a repower 2.8. Sell the 3.5 and recoup some of your costs.

Why not just 2J swap it then?

I’ll grab a supercharger when they’re out and proven. Need more power for towing when I don’t wanna grab the powerstroke.

Well personally a supercharger sounds great for a midsized truck. Only issue is price point. I wish they sold them for $3k but will likely be double that.

My only real aversion is some of the places I go you have two options, regular unleaded and diesel. Remote fuel stops sometimes don't even have an option for higher octane stuff.
