2016 silver Tacoma SR

Just got my 2016 Toyota Tacoma sr and looking to upgrade the headlights to the OEMassive headlights with the drl. I was wondering what I would need to have them installed so that when I turn my fog lights on the LED strip comes on as well. The guy installing them for me said he would be able to do it no problem without any extra work... but from my research idk if that’s 100% true. Thanks for the help
