17 inch rims on 2015 tacoma

i replied to an old thread but don't think I will get a response in time. Can anyone answer the following thread I just posted on an old thread


"I looked into to your tires & rims and had my local dealership here in canada look up those sizes. It was a lot of back n forth phone calls and I'm so frusterated cause I really want those rims and tires. He had a hard time finding 17 inch for me and told me that Tacoma doesn't have 17 inch. He canvassed with some other employees who said that the 4 runner tires and rims will fit Tacoma"

Post a picture of the wheels you want. The TRD Sport Tacomas do have 17inch wheels stock and according to your profile you have a TRD Sport

 

Welcome you really shouldn't start threads with the word help, as this is clearly not an emergency. Tacoma's come with either 16's 17's or 18's so whoever you were dealing with should go work at McDonald's or Wendy's. Pic my Tacoma with 17's

I put 17" rims on a 2015 Tacoma and they fit just fine. The 17" wheels came factory on a FJ and 4Runner if that helps. What wheel are you looking at?

 

The tread I looked at said he got the following

TRD Pro 17" rims and 265/70/17 BFG AT TKO2 tires

I want the same ones but my parts guy at my toyota can't seem to find...says Tacoma only has 16 inch rims and tires
