Realistically, how hard is the install of this and a progressive (Add a Leaf)? I have my socket set, C Clamps, Loctite. And then locally we can rent time for a hoist at a local shop.
Would a lift or floor jack be better for someone with limited suspension install knowledge? How many hours is it safe to budget?

With limited knowledge and basic hand tools, give yourself 8-10hrs (maybe 12). It can certainly be done in less. But no matter how you spin, it’s a full day job for most. Mine took about 5hr for front, rear, and ECGS swap. But we had 3 people, a shop full of tools, a lift, and experience.

You’ll likely need an angle grinder for the AAL install. If you have access to a lift I’d highly suggest going that route over floor jacks and jack stands. Just have a plan in place for maintaining position of the rear axle when you get to the AAL install.

Ok so I missed out on this deal, but I'm picking up a slightly used set of 6112/5160. Can anyone guess what you think this trd pro set would be in relation to the clip settings on the 6112? As they are pretty much the same minus adjustibilty.

And as far as the ecgs bushing replacement does this apply to 2wd? If so, anyone have those tools I can borrow?
    Thanks

Alrighty, I got mine installed along with OME Dakar Light Duty(EL095R ) leaf packs used along with my previously installed sumo springs(SSR-610-40). I had the 3+1 post TSB pack and the leafs were riding flat or even inverse with the topper(Leer 100XR) and DIY plywood drawer system on my DCSB. My goal was to gain suspension travel and bed carrying capacity and not necessarily lift so I opted to remove the top overload leaf on the OME leaf pack since it's about 1/2" thick of spacer.

Here is how she currently stands...

-Center of hub to fender data-
    WHEEL/PRE/POST/Δ
    DF/20.25/21.875/1.625
    PF/20.5/22.125/1.625
    DR/21.75/22.375/0.625
    PR/21.5/22.5/1

    A few things...

The new leaf pack, even without the top overload, is thicker than 3+1 TSB but only by about 0.15" so I'm tracking a travel gain of 0.5-0.85" for the rear. The leafs still sit on the sumo springs so I've ordered the OME AAL that makes the Medium turn into the Heavy duty to adjust.

I live in Colorado and do a fair amount of camping, biking, fishing and hunting. With the girl(weight negligible, NEGLIGIBLE I TELL YOU!), two 60lb dogs, bikes coolers of refreshments and food I was pushing it so far as bed weight capability. Towing my roughly 1800lb trailer with a variable tongue rate maxed out at about 300lbs I was squatting like Kato Kaelin in the back, hence the sumo springs. When I started pulling apart the shackles and removing the 3+1 leafs it was clear that everything had been pretty well seized for a while. This is on a 2013. Also, I removed the OEM bushings and their metal flange from the shackles and it wasn't fun. If anyone needs advice on this please let me know. I'm not sure that I'd do it again.

Id say clip 3/4 would be close.

I had same issue with weight and towing. I got bags awhile back, so I opted for icon aal plus new take off leaf. I did add this though, during install :D20180318_013455.jpg

Measurements are from ground to fender.

For being on a 33" tire on the 5/4 setting your at 37" in the front and 3leaf aal your around 38.5"

I moved to the 6/5 setting and at 38" front. Hope that helps...

Question for you guys running the Pro kit. How many of you removed the sway bar and how is the ride without it?

Agreed bud. Bags are the way to go if you can afford the investment. No question.

They're great. I had them already, just added the cradle, since i was already taking off old bracket.

Not that I've found. Over the past week, I've tried ordering from six different places that appeared to have it in stock. Each order was canceled.
