Had a bobcat running at me full speed thinking I was a squirrel up in the mountains on a cold rainy windy day. Its kind of scary when all you have is a 22 long rifle. I bought an AR haven't seen a predator since. I did have some kind of large bird swoop my head when I was doing a dying rabbit call on my FoxPro. That will wake you up for sure !!!

 

Good morning all! Been a rough night! My oldest came down with the stomach flu late yesterday and has been throwing up all evening/night. He hasn't even been able to keep down water...

So a sick day at home is on tap for me today to care for my little one.

 

Get him hydrated if he can't do anything but throw up what he drinks don't hesitate in getting him an IV.

@EatSleepTacos how was the tent mounted on top of your shell when you had it? I know you weren’t the biggest fan of the RTT but was it a big pain to have on top of the shell other than being so high up.

 

It's not going to be a whole lot higher than you have it now really. When you headed to Wilson to get the shell?

 

The plan is to head up Saturday AM. Gotta get the rack off so I can get it mounted when I pick it up.

Hoping we have turned the corner. He has finally been able to keep down some Pedialyte and a few saltine crackers and is starting to say he is hungry...hopefully that means his stomach is settling down. I know when I start to feel hungry after being sick, it usually means I am at the tail end of it.

I had it on that unistrut roof rack I built. It was a pain to set up without a step ladder (I didn’t have sliders at the time) and mpg took a hit. I didn’t like the high center of gravity but that didn’t really affect anything I did other than take corners slower.

 

Did you already have the tracks on your shell?
