Anyone flush mounted LEDs into bumper corners?

I looked around a bit and couldn’t find what I was looking for, but has anyone flush mounted LEDS into the 3rd gen oem rear bumper corners?
Thinking about trying to mount up some Baja Designs S2 sports into mine. I’m imagining there is enough room. Maybe a little drilling needed.
Any pics out there would be helpful! Thanks!

 

I'm sure you could. I know us 2nd genners do it all the time, and you def have the space.

Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen flush mounts on an OEM 3rd gen bumper.

But I’m wanting them in the corners for some reason. Not really sure yet. Haha.
I’ve read multipul people saying there isn’t room on the 3rd gen bumpers but after taking the corners off today and replacing my chromies with black ones I’m not seeing that at all. A lot of space if you’re not trying to mount something crazy deep and you pay attention to what’s behind the cover.

Why the corners? Seems like you would light up 4 and 8 on a clock and have a dark dead spot in between.

Bumper is a little flimsey but I highly doubt those lights weigh a ton.
If I do it I should probably buy one of those plastic fastener kits to replace the ones I broke trying to get out on the street in a hurry so I didn’t get whacked by a car. Haha.

 

Yeah you’re probably right. I’m starting to think that as well after seeing the thread above.
I just thought it would look better for some reason. Still not sure. That’s why I love TW. haha.

Is your plan to use them as brighter reverse lights, or will you be running them on a separate switch?

 

Separate switch. I don’t want to blind the fellow mall goers. Haha.
I just want more light for reversing in the woods at night and possibly some light white setting up camp if needed.
