A few mods here and there and counting....
I have 884/5100s with wheelers progressive aal going on soon. Tire setup: 265/75r16s. This setup should net me around 2in all around and i intend on keeping the overload leaf(TSB 4leaf pk) in to achieve the factory rake look. Your setup should be level if you keep the overload in.

Check this thread out, lots of great examples on 265s.

Thanks! Also I just noticed you're in alexandria! I'm in silver spring, MD and am only like 30 min away. I love helping out other members, and have installed 7-8 lifts now. When are you going to do it? I keep pretty much all my tools in my truck so it's no big deal.

I plan on doing the install either April 7th or anytime during the week before the 7th. Is there anything 8 can help out with you can use an extra hand on?

What are you using for spring compressor? I bought this type and it’s a BEAST. $110 on Amazon. 8milelake is the brand!

I'm not working on the 7th, so unless I've made other plans I've forgotten about, I'm down to help! And no, you're good! I don't need help with anything that I can think of at the moment.

Don't worry about it man! A few bucks for gas would be nice but not necessary. Like I said I have all my tools in my truck anyways, so we'll be covered.

    Are your 5100/885 assembled already?

Not yet but have spring compressors and new hardware I may have them prepped before the 7th since I won't need anything off the stock setup

If you don't, no worries. I use another method where you have a jack under the LCA and decompress the spring that way. Super easy and safe, and have done it on about 10 coils now.

I've seen this techinique after hours of research was tempted to try it myself but thought might as well get the tool since It's cheap enough. Thanks for the prompt responses love the community support excited to get it installed

Yeah after doing this method as well as the cheap spring compressor method, the LCA way is the way to go! Plus then we can take out your alignment bolts and cover them in anti seize. They're known to rust together and are very expensive to fix. Some easy preventative maintenance that adds maybe 15 minutes
