Is there a way to keep the front parking lights from coming on automatically when you start the engine? I don't see a need for it to be automatic, there are times I don't want any outside lights on when the engine is running. I can turn them on manually if I want/need them.

They are daytime running lights. There are a couple ways to delete them. My preference is with the factory grey plastic jumper cap and a Diode Dynamics smart tap flasher.

Do you have a link to the procedure? I figured there was a way to do it, just need to find instructions on how. I'd also like to know how to go about keeping the foglights on with high beams.

I haven't done the fog light anytime mod yet. There's a few different ways to do it. Also, depending on the year of your truck, the fog light relay will be in 1 of 2 different locations. Search for fog light anytime mod. There's several threads.
