During the last trip up Chestnut Mountain the forward bolt that holds the hi-lift on came loose. I found the bolt in the bed of the truck, nut nowhere to be found, and the hi-lift had swung down the side of the truck.

    20180323_130905.jpg
The damage isn't terrible, but enough to make me :annoyed: I don't know if I hit the hi-lift on something, if it vibrated lose, or what...

    20180323_130911.jpg

So I'm thinking about either dropping the hi-lift down and hanging it from the bed rails, or maybe see if the man @EddyRRT can tack a third post to the bars for an extra attachment point. I've got the mounts for quick fists that could hold the hi-lift, but wanted to use those for holding an axe or shovel.

    20180323_130917.jpg

Anyway... My 2015 truck is starting to look well used.

Yeah, I probably should have had some green on there already. But kinda thinking if I move the hi-lift down that gives me more room to stick my arms in the bed.

When I hit that boulder taller than my truck and broke the hi lift handles/knobs I had to hold it to the bed bars.

You should use nylok nuts if you are attaching that way or tighten the shit out of them. Otherwise it's time to look into a different attachment method or buy some more quick fists. I don't think going to 3 studs would be any better.
