Nice! Which model? Where did you buy it? And if you do not mind answering, how much?

I've been researching all week. Came down to this and the Kobalt 1/2 impact/batt/charger/bag combo at Lowes for $199. I've had nothing but success with Dewalt tools along with positive vibes from friends/family who uses them for years without issue. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Installed a BNR 250amp alternator today. No issues. Definitely keeping the factory alternator as a spare.

250 amp? DAMN! That's insane. Is there more info on this? How many batteries are you running?

Undo serpentine belt, unbolt 10m bolt from fender well and two 10m bolts from alternator, unbolt two 14m bolts from alternator ears, 10m nut from alternator lead, 1 connector. Took about 20 minutes combined for removal of old and install of new, so not bad.

EDIT: Pull it through the fender instead of up and out.

Working on the Clazzio's, going well and not doing it all at once, only complaint is the extra material in the inside corner of the Passenger side, not sure if it will happen on the drivers side yet. Took off the seat side cover, and it helps a lot, ran string through an existing hole (Used a red grommet thing to keep from cutting the string. Oh, and the holes for the headrests could be a bit bigger.

Sorry to hear! Do not accept their first offer! Check Kelly Blue Book and NADA and then look for comparable trucks in your area. Show them a quote for what a new camper top costs... And any other mods/extras/oem packages/recent maintenance/etc. If that doesn’t work, and it didn’t for me, I ended up paying an independent company for an appraisal and sent that in. Cost around $100 and insurance came back with a much much better offer! Just figured I’d pass it along!

Finally got the new Big Country Customs tube bumper on. Left the wiring for my fogs hidden behind, getting new ones at some time to add to this beast. Needs new shoes 1st though.20180323_174613-01.jpg

Nice shoes, but I'm really curious about the antenna mount behind your tailgate...?

I'm guessing that there were other comments about WD40, but if I wait till I page thru the rest of my unread pages, I'll forget...
WD40 is a solvent, not a lubricant. WD40 is washing lube from the joints...

Red grommet thing? It's called red eye & it's used in electrical field to shield wires from there metal casing.
