IMG_20180323_190348.jpg I had a 08 with the square pods that I loved, unfortunately, with the bumper design, it wouldn't allow for the bigger square ones like I had, after a little research, found these on Amazon, they fit so perfect, and ridiculous bright. Behind the bumper cover there is a small cavity that the back of the light fits into like Toyota had planned it. Makes my back-up camera look like daytime. They were super easy to install, wired directly into the reverse wire on the trailer plug. I used the supplied gasket for a template and was easy to cut and install...
Not a bad investment for such a good safe mod...

That look like it could of been an oem option, well done. I wonder how it would look on the chrome bumper

Edit: one of the reviews mentions it makes noise. I see there are many products listed so maybe it wasn't for these lights, but can you hear the lights when on?

No, they're usually just on for a few seconds, long enough for me to back down the driveway, haven't actually listened to them though to see

My shop is roughly 50 ft from where my truck is in the 2nd to last pic. That will give an idea of how far back it beams, and easily shines 25ft past both sides. One of the best $50 investments I've made w my truck so far...

No, I didn't get a chance to, but I will try tonight whenever it gets dark and see if I can get a good shot of it. But since I have owned this truck, which has only been about 3 weeks, it is a definite 100% difference in the vision at night with the lights for the better

    Beautiful!

Was it necessary to remove the bumper? If so, can you show some pics of how you did it?

I'd hate to have to reattach it with bailing wire. It might detract from the beauty of the lights.
