Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    Yes it is! Haha

I paid 39k new for my 2015 Turd Pro 6spd, and suoercharged it.

Supposedly, after some laughing and research that 2014 was bought as a dealer showpiece.. and it is marked up to not sell.. call it what you will haha. I told them if they ever want to sell at market value I would be interested.

    My
MY 2015 Pro was nose high brand new. It had the worst rear springs of any Toyota I habe ever owned.. and I am likely in the triple digits.

Also, I dont have access to my fuelly but yes on my 2015,

    Lifetime average 11.5 mpg
    Daily/city 12.5 ish
    Highway 14 ish
    Worst tank 5!
    Best tank 18

A few tanks of 91, but nearly all 93 octane. I am 6spd manual, supercharged and I tow a lot, and drive "the speed limit" 25k or so tracked on fuelly

Makes sense, I figured you were either towing or spinning 37s out there.

    Smiles per gallon > MPG

Smiles per gallon is definately more important! Haha.

Wow man, good luck. Built up 4runners are definitely badass. It’s a tough choice with no wrong answer. I had a sweet deal for a new 15 inferno 4Runner but ended up turning it down when I got my Baja. Can’t wait to see how you build it up!!!

Hey fellas. New member here and a freshly minted member of 2015 Taco Pro delivered from WV to Cali just today.

Car needs a nice wash so will post pic after rain passes next week.

    Couple of questions...

    1) how many keys/fobs did 2015 pros come with?

    2) are the mudguards on pro diff than those from non pro’s?

    1) You should have 2 sets of keys/fobs unless you bought it used, you might have just one.

    2) The mudguards are the same for all 2nd Gens, except the Base 2wd?

    Thx @itaro and @Island Cruiser

Yes. Got it used with 1 set. Will see if the 2nd set was stowed in glove. Hoping the prev owned can mail me the 2nd pair for the Oakley’s he left behind.

Yuba City Toyota has the mudguards set posted on eBay for $165 and when I gave them my VIN, they said they weren’t compatible which had me scratching my head.

When I replaced mine I picked up the fasteners from here TOYOTA MUDGUARD & PANEL RETAINER a heck of a lot cheaper than the dealer wants. And you will break several of them removing the flap.

Spend a lot of time on gravel roads, when not covered in snow that is. Removing the flaps and throwing rocks is not good for your body panels LOL. Replaced my flaps with Weather tech which I modified. Can put the OEM back on if I ever sell it.

On the shock corrosion issue my Baja is now 4 years old and had one rear reservoir rust out and leak, and the shock failed. This is the only vehicle I have ever owned where I purchased an extended warranty. It paid for itself with the replacement cost of that one shock and reservoir. Still really like the performance of the Baja suspension tuning, they got it right especially for washboard roads. I clean and spray corrosion inhibitor on everything once a year. But salt is going to happen here, and eventually rust.

Yep you did a nice job on those. That's a marketable product right there. If that were an option for purchase, those would be the flaps I'd choose.
