I've had this grinder for about 2 years now I think. It's great. 40 different grind settings. Even though I typically only use 2 of them haha.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas! Have been using a stainless percolator for camp coffee but thought about trying something different.

What's the difference in french press coffee vs. drip coffee? Is it more of a creamier cup and not as watery? I have noticed that when I drink black coffee its more watery than I'd like.

It's hard to beat an old river pot peculator, but the French press is close. With the press you go coarse with the grind and the grind actually steeps in the water to get a richer flavor.

Not as watery? There's nothing in coffee that is going to change the properties of the water that much. It would take cream and frother for that. But watery as in weak? Press is much better.

Watery as in more water flavor vs coffee flavor.

Then you need to brew more coffee per cup and/or a darker coffee.

Might be interested to sell these rims from the 2018 T4R trd. Not sure what they go for? If someone here is interested I'd certainly entertain an offer. They've never been out of the box that came in the back of the T4R.

What would that equal? Like 6 scoops of coffee per 12 cups of water?

Lol I haven't researched to see what they're going for. You'll probably get more selling them one at a time anyways

I use about 20 grams of coffee for every about 220 grams of water. You’re probably not going to weigh your coffee out like I do but you can go roughy by a 1:11 coffee to water ratio

A lot of folks run those and may want one for a spare. Put them up in BST per each.

Good trade off. The darker the roast, the less caffeine it has.
