I was only able to get the A pillar mounts done. I'm still going to add side plate to the tube to tie everything in after the cage is built. I'll do the B pillar tomorrow.

Keep the center support or ditch it?

If there were 2 smaller light bars I'd say keep it.

Looks good remove those cross center supports on the roof. And before you go welding on the pillar frame mounts make sure your gonna be able to drop your cage and weld the roof.

    That looks awesome!
A friend told me not weld vertically or horizontally on the frame as this can make it easier to crack down a seem. He said to make diamond shaped plates when attaching to the frame.
Not sure if there's any science behind that. But food for thought.
I so wish I had the skills to cage mine up

That's how I did my sliders when I made them. The top of the plate was more like this /\. But honestly anything can crack in time and it's just a matter of grinding the crack and welding it back up. No biggie to me. I deal with cracks in 3/8" + steel all the time at work. I'm not a welder or fab guy. I leaned on the job how to burn stick and air arc. Thanks for looking out tho

Scientifically I think circles are the strongest because there is are no corners or hard edges for the stress to pull at. That being said, the diamond or squares show are probably more than sufficient for the needs here

My truck will randomly develop this creaking noise in the passenger front suspension, it has done this with stock control alarms and cameburgs long travel. I checked all torque and greased all The uniballs. It made these noises even when the camburg kit was new and had not seen any off-road

Here’s a video of the passenger side, I am jumping up and down on my running boards.

    https://youtu.be/J90T5YvT-nI

It happens over every little bump or crack, any ideas?

Have you checked the torque on the cam bolts? Sorry if you said it - autocorrect looks like it had its way with your post lol.
