I’m having a hell of a time re-installing the “kickplate” trim on passengers side where you splice the wires in. Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

I just did the poor man's version of this the other day so I know your pain. ..

Start the bottom first (where the plastic locks are angled down) and watch the red clips to make sure they're lining up. Also, at the bottom, watch the tab on the rear seat side that needs to go beside the carpet. After that, just whack away, it'll settle...

Check where the clip lines up at the side of the kick panel I remember it getting a little deformed and needing some tweaking.

I had both of mine off and one was a real bear to get back on. Check the clips as mentioned and just keep trying.

Just did mine yesterday. Make sure you line it up first and it should just pop right back on...mine did anyways. I believe I made sure to get the panel lined up with the screw hole area them just gave it a firm press to get it to go into place everywhere else..if that makes sense?

But as others have said, make sure the clips aren't bent and they are indeed lining up properly.

Did you get this sorted? If not make sure the wiring that you've added is blocking the clips?

I learned that the kick panel goes over the rubber seal on the side closet to the door. On my other vehicle, the rubber seals went under the kick panel. Fit like a charm once I realized that

    I did not...
It’s on and it’s staying put but it bothers me.
