Hi, I've Been following and reading the "lift" blogs/forums. Without getting into a long and specifics rant on "Why" I'm asking this question - I'm hoping for easy answer on this question.

Do they sell rear helper shocks (i.e. springs over shocks) for the 2nd Generation??

Sorry if this is a dumb question ....

    Thanks

Never seen anything like that for Tacomas, but if you are looking to aid the stock leaf springs load capacity or handling with heavy loads you could try air bags or sumo springs.

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I already have installed the Timbren TORTUN4L
    Suspension Enhancement System. [IMG]

I was hoping for some additional assist with a cheaper and quicker solution other than changing/modifying my leaf springs. I'd just like to add a rear set of helper spring shocks. I know these are made, but I have not seen them for the Tacoma 2nd generations. i.e. [IMG]

I'm guessing that there is a clearance issue between the springs and the axle??

Thanks but I'm looking for a helper spring on shock combo. I do not want to mess with my leaf springs
