Let us know how it goes. I've got Toytec's too (BOSS' tho), and everyone's always on me to remove the sway bar...
Ben just wanted to post that because it's a "ka-chow" shot for his truck :)

Yeah my cousin in the begining said to go with Alcansor dakars if I didnt go custom. I really hadnt much a clue about suspension when I first started this. Educated myself as best I could and learn as I go. My stock suspension was shot n wouldnt let me play in the dirt no mo so i had to finally turn this truck into what it always wanted to be hahah. I am definitely learning now. My Friends’ tacoma their leafs are a flat/frown almost n brand new. When I put my tent back on and full weight the truck down Ill get a better idea of what that looks like. With my cbi swing out and tent, jerry cans, etc we shall see. I dont have much confidence in these handling the weight as ideally as I would like. I will find out though Did you get new kings for the rear? Johnny joints sound crazy haha

Oh, and yeah remove it. The extra comfort alone is worth it, you have 650lb coils which should be plenty to avoid crazy body roll.

Yeah 2.5"dia 10" stroke, I haven't gotten to play with them yet though...

The Alcans are built to spec so if I am too far from where I want to be after all the weight is on I'll be giving them a call to build a pack. I've wanted to do Johnny joints since my last truck. Probably will go with the TG weldable ones if I don't get Alcans, if I get the Alcans though I'll have them put orbit eyes in. Truck stuff is certainly a learn as you go affair :)

What leafs do you have on your truck?
On mine I got the OME with an AAL and I’m getting a negative arch with about 200-250 pounds in the back of my truck.

What toolbox is that? I've been looking for a metal tool chest that would fit in between the wheel wells so I could fit my roll bar back there. I'm using a cheap plastic trailer tongue box right now.

How much for Alcans? Where to buy them? Im thinking on do a set of OEM or Bilstein 5100 all around and the Alcan pack. Dont wanna mess with lift and all extra adjustments required. Tks

your leaf packs are also 3'' shorter which is a big factor.

And honestly it looks like your shocks bushings are limiting your travel more than anything. So good thing those are temparary. Plus running the shocks || you'll never get maximum articulation anyways due to shock binding. running them like that is about better control for going faster and vertical travel.

Hell I can go negative with Franks:

I thought for sure you would have done the shock relocation by now on frank, any reason why you havent? Or is that an old photo.
I definitely do just w my swingout on.
Alcans are pricey, and dependent on what you want. I am glad I didnt initally get them cause they build them to spec. I am learning what I want and dont want out of my suspension just from taking it out and seeing what happens etc. If you know a lot more about suspension then I, do it. You will have to call them direct and place an order with them.

Sound that Alcans are for PRO and pricy , since I'm under amateur league then new OEM could be the answer, thank you

That is why Im glad I didnt spend the extra cash not understanding fully what I need for my wants haha. The truck still performs well for my needs right now. From my understanding it will cause premature wear of the leafs, but that will give me enough time to have the money to replace them and possibly get some cash for em before they are toasted. I think it will take a long time for them to wear out completely, I could be wrong though. Dakars are less expensive by far.

Maybe not with his rubber bushings, but it's certainly not a problem with spherical bearings.
