Ride pretty good still? And what do you have the DSC adjusters set to? I put mine to the lowest setting for high and low speeds front and rear and am thinking of bumping them back up a bit.

White was actually the only other color I would have got. Love the white 3rd gens too. I was going to do a white with blue accents.

Very nice truck and great colour! Happen to recall the name for that locking hitch pin or did it come with the Hitchlink?

Headed to Joshua Tree Thursday March 29th with my friend and my 9 year old daughter...

Slept in the truck that night right outside of Hidden Valley...
    IMG_7083.jpg

We drove around Hidden Valley Campground @ 7am looking for a spot ..... no luck! We drove around every other campground from the north side all the way down south to Cottonwood and couldn't find a damn site.

    IMG_7087.jpg

We drove back north and stopped at the Cactus Garden where I ran into this beautiful 4Runner (our next vehicle purchase BTW)

    IMG_7091.jpg

    IMG_7096.jpg

So at this point I was already planning on staying somewhere on BLM outside the park, but decided to roll thru the campgrounds one more time to try our luck. Tried White Tank first....nothing then drove thru Belle and got super lucky that a family decided to leave a day early. So Friday morning we set up camp in Belle campground.

    IMG_7251.jpg

That's where we met that fucking awesome dude right there. Jason was a camping expert and definitely made this camp trip one to remember. Friday night was a blast. Highlight of the night was with our neighbors (bros from orange county)... we got into a Yeti and RTIC conversation that lead to the dude tossing his Yeti around to show its durability. My friend, who was drunk as shit, decided to try and "break" the dudes Yeti. He was slamming it around like a fucking madman. It was hilarious... the Yeti held its own and survived! Yeti 1 Carlos 0.

Saturday morning after breakfast we drove to Skull Rock to explore a little.

    IMG_7146.jpg

After Skull Rock we drove to Desert Queen Mine for a little hike.

    IMG_7179.jpg
It was getting pretty hot out there so we went back to the truck and drove some dirt roads for a bit.

    IMG_7237.jpg
Went back to camp saturday afternoon to eat some lunch and then head into town to buy a few things and seen this awesome truck...

    IMG_7243.jpg

    Method Grid FTW!

We enjoyed some nice conversations with an older couple from Lake Tahoe that night around the campfire. Woke up early sunday morning to make breakfast and head home.

    More pictures to come...
