I have a chance to pick this up if I want it. Checked with triple aaa no outdated fees and my buddy has all the paper work. He just wants it off his side yard. You can see in the pics it’s beat up. It is 6’ x 14’. I have no problem taking it down to bare frame and inspecting repairing and replacing parts as necessary. Real question is, is it worth it, and any rough estimate on what it would be worth fully cleaned up painted wood repaired etc..

You're probably looking at a couple hundred to redeck it, couple hundred for new brakes/bearings, and then some nickel and dimes to cover wiring or frame issues depending on how good or bad it is. Looks pretty solid from the pictures though, so you should still pick it up if the price is right (or even better if free).

It looks like it’s been thru hell. You will basically be getting a trailer frame. You will have to replace the wood deck, 4 new tires, 4 sets of bearings and seals, brakes, rewire, front trailer jack. Hopefully the axels are ok and no cracks or breaks in the leaf springs. And of course you’ll have to paint it. Many many hours of labor and significant expense. If you are getting it to fix up then sell for profit I think your profit margin will be small. If you are getting it for your own use then maybe it’s worth the time, labor and expense.
