LOL, I have never understood why people go out of the way to block out their tag # in photos

 

there are lots of reasons too.

 

I never really did either, but it's true that you never know what kind of crazy person might decide to try track your truck down via the plates. In real life, you're only limited to how many potential crazy people see your truck in person...putting it up online makes it more visible to any crazy person anywhere in the world.

 

Ok, I guess some do but I have never seen a reason.

There are some on here who've had their license plate info posted on here, come back to haunt them and cause them problems.

Whatever you say or post on the web will be there forever. Forever is a long time.

 

If you haven't done anything wrong, there's no reason for it to cause your problems.

Other than the shocks and torqueing everything down, I'd say the rear is done. Oh and I gotta trim the bottom of those U-bolts. Too bad tomorrow I gotta get the struts back out of the front to lower 'em down some though.

 

I get that . And is true for the most part. But it seems a bit naive too. The real message here is that this is permanent record.

Its pretty simple to do, 5 seconds with my own plate and it found my truck

 

Food for thought, obscuring your license plate for online photos is not too difficult to do. I think it's worth it.

So I need to worry about people on Tacoma World? What about everyone that sees it everyday wherever I drive?
