This really annoys me. It was the same thing in my Subaru. I know you can reach over to the screen and hit the back arrow button to get rid of the text message, but are there any controls on the steering wheel that will do this?

I agree, the message staying on the screen is annoying as hell

I've yet to figure out a way to get it to go away. I tried hitting numerous buttons on the steering wheel, but none seemed to control the messages on that screen.

I was just thinking about this yesterday haha Maybe there is a button on the steering wheel to clear the screen? I guess I need to check the manual out again.

Stupid messaging. I spend a few days trying to figure out how to make it work. With an iphone all I get is a message saying "So and so sent you a message. Ignore?" It won't go away until I hit the ignore button. Thanks for not even letting me ignore the damn message.

Then the other day I was charging (don't forget to change your source from bluetooth to USB! We're sorry, your phone is not connected properly, please try again.) and I actually got an option to read the text message. Woo-hoo. Still have to hit button on the screen. Imma go figure out how to not even get messages though the truck anymore.

    Stupid messaging.

Anyone figure out how to read emails? In settings I see something referencing an email notification but that is all.
