I try to keep it on the DL. :infantry:

    That's right!

We ended up sharing our spot one year with a guy who needed hookups while we were tent camping. You might be able to do that.

    :spending:

We made almost 500 last year. May need to step it up to accommodate more peeps this year.

    I like those tiny tents.

I may pull the RTT off and run a hammock or ground tent. It gets annoying setting it up and taking it down when i'm returning to the same camp every day. Thats the only time I dont love the RTT, I do still really like it though.

I've got a small Coleman tent, it's ok for just me. I wouldn't be opposed to trying out the hobo hammock I got either.

Funny how life works. I used to have a RTT and hated it for that exact reason. Sold it. And now that I have a tow pig that can stay at camp 24/7, I'm buying another RTT this week lol.

They're cool for overlanding if you sleep in a diff spot every night but terrible if you just like to crawl at parks if they're on your crawler.

Yeah, its been a big learning experience. This is my first 4wd vehicle and I've learned a lot in the short 1 1/2yrs I've had it. I started learning after the 1st month with it when I went solo to CO after I hadnt gone camping in almost 15 yrs. I have no intention of getting rid of my RTT but for trips like Jambo I would love to get a trailer I could move my entire rack onto. That way I could move the rack between the trailer and the truck depending on what type of trip I was taking. I just need a trailer and a place to park it. Sometimes I think I need to spend less time at places like BMRA because I feel like I'm starting to make some less than ideal choices to push myself and my truck. Then again whats the point if you cant find your limitations someplace where your not hours away from help. I'm also learning BMRA pretty well and wanting to hit harder trails as I become a better driver and my truck gets built up a little more. Past few times have been interesting and I've done some minor damage to the truck on the last 2 of 3 outings.:notsure: Most of my coworkers think I'm  to do this to such a new truck. My response are simple, "at least I use it like a truck" or "I didnt buy a Mall Crawler". That shuts them up quick.

No sass, impressed with the business mind that gets those people in the right spot, then "captures" them with the Jello-shots. Captive audience.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

....it's not the size of the tent, it's the "magic" in it.... :D

    You need one of these
    https://www.amazon.com/Jellinator-the-Jello-Shot-Maker/dp/B005NHD6M4

I have not figured out the hang situation yet with a hammock to be able to sleep comfortably. That and I am more of a side/stomach sleeper and it just doesn't work well.

There is still room in my tent... :anonymous:

Pretty sure the only way i would buy a RTT, is if I had a dedicated rig that it would stay on and if it stayed at camp so I could just set it up and that is is... taking it down and up would just be annoying...

I like when people put RTTs on the gooseneck though, that is pretty clever and a simple way to have an easy tow trailer with a place to sleep.

This is the same dilema I’m in also. I really like the rtt but the wife loves it! Not sure i can talk her into going back to a ground tent, LoL. Will probably end up hauling the rtt around the trails this year unless i can borrow a small trailer to mount it on. Need to start hitting up the fam. As a side note, i haven’t found any drawbacks to having it on trails. Did well across southern Utah last summer.

I think we are doing the RTT on the trailer - no sleeping in my 4Runner this year! (Although it was super comfortable last year...)
