Technically not fully my build it's the girlfriend's truck, but she does ask for my opinion and help since i've modified my previous cars before. Modding a truck is pretty much the same when doing research on parts on cars, just a different scene on what you're doing with them. With budget always being a factor in builds, I think what we looked at more was what exactly are we doing with the truck. We've seeing so many videos of overlanding, offroading, trail riding that we're like yeah! we're going to go do that and this.... almost a year into owning the truck we having done any of that.

Basically it's her daily that she uses to go to work, drop off our son to school, and use it every now and then on the weekends if we don't want to take the S2000 or M3. So when looking into suspension do we really want a stage 2-3 ICON or King's Suspension kit? Fuck yeah we do, but do we really need it for what we use the truck for? Nah, not really. So we came to do the dreaded 4inch lift spacer from Rough Country. Installation was pretty straight forward and done within an afternoon.

Next up wheels, with my contacts in the car scene I was able to get a set of Rotiform SIX-OR for dirt cheap, so while we wait done the road for a set of Stealth Custom F5 wheels, i think these will be a good alternative till then.

Tires a set of Toyo Tires MT 33s was a must. No rubbing at all either. I've driving my brother's tundra on Nitto's beefy 295 grabbers and these are stupid quiet. The ride is pretty much stock too! I was worried about harsh ride but damn these kept the factory feel.

For fun factory I had my old Yakima roof box from my old Audi Wagon in the garage and threw it on. I think it adds a bit more to the truck, just looks tough as hell. That's it for now, a few more mods till the year is done with, i'll update this later on.
