A few additions to make me feel cool.
My sister wrecked her car 20 years ago and asked me to fix it. I covered three states taking panels off of different colored cars and when I got it back together it looked like a calico cat. She was pissed but drove it and people would back up when they saw her coming. I even replaced the trunk lid that was not even damaged.

I didn't know they sold bare metal panels. I've only seen primered parts.

    Yes...

That's part of the reason bodywork is so damn expensive!

Just so you know the OP's car is a red EX model. The recent picture is one I took of a beige LX in the parking lot at my gym.

I just located a red Civic parts car in Rhode Island. I am gonna call the wreck yard on Monday to find out how much it will be. Some stranger I met on the street recommended car-part.com and I am so glad they did! It searches millions of parts and allowed me to filter by closest distance. I will post pics of the tear down and when it is put back together.

Drove up to Rhode Island on Thursday. It was a 5 hour trip and that was the longest trip I've taken with my Tacoma. 227,000 miles and it performed great. I even got 23 mpg. I have all the civic parts at my house and hopefully I can get going on it by Sunday. It cost me $500 for the fender, hood(brackets & hood lock included), headlight, and a passenger door.

Update: I had the radiator support pulled at a body shop. They also aligned the fender/hood and it cost $500:bananadead::facepalm:. I had dropped it off to get a quote, but they started working on it without telling me. And one of the bolt holes for the headlight is still not fixed, which was one of the main reasons I was having a professional do it. Unfortunately, my family has known this guy for over 30 years and it makes it hard to complain. I am eating it and I will not use him anymore. On the plus side, the car is closer to being done. I got the right passenger motor mount coming in tomorrow and I have a set of tires being installed Monday. I will hopefully have the hood, headlight, and bumper back on this weekend. Total $$ invested so far is $1700.

Final Update: All put together. Still working out some slight non-related running issues, but it's drivable.
