This. All of this. Pay attention people.

The only thing these "safety features" really do is reassure the driver that it is OK for them to take their eyes off the road and their surroundings, so they can finger fuck their cell phone while driving.

This is the SOLE reason I sold my FZ-09 after a near death experience with a teen girl texting on a cell phone and not fucking paying attention.

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
Sold all 3 of my bikes for the same damn reason. Between the fucking 90 year old snowbirds oblivious to anyone else on the road and 16 year old douchebags in M3's playing Fast n' Furious everywhere they go, a computer cannot beat good ol' fashioned situational awareness. Been driving since 1992 without computer assistance and have only been in one accident and that was a dump truck with brake failure hitting me from behind at 45mph while I was stopped at a red light.

I already asked them to turn it off but no luck. Hope to just get a new truck this time. Tired of dealing with this.

Update...Toyota is insisting I remove my 2 inch lift before they will look at it. Even though the issue persisted well before the lift was installed. And they have diagnosed the issue well before I lifted and I was promised it was fixed. Guess I will be seeking legal action. Wish me luck....
