Ok you punched this one. Those are threaded in the cab but go to nothing on my truck. They are to the left of the footrest block which mounts to that long bolt you see in pic. 20180327_213513.jpg

I'm looking at a parts diagram online now. The lower bolt I have must have been for mud flaps. :woot:

Edit. Nevermind you said passenger side.

It’s holding up? I used a wire wheel to take it down to bare metal, and then silicone’d it. Wasn’t sure how well it would hold up though.

Yeah I would silicone it. You'll probably burn right thru trying to weld it

I’ll have to check and see if it’s the same for the passenger side, and goes to nothing.

That’s good to know. I would have assumed the mud and rocks flung up would have messed it up, but I’ll just leave it be and keep an eye on it.

Well I apparently flipped the switch to my rock lights when taking pictures of the kick panel earlier. Got a call from my boss at work telling me my "zombie killing lights were on":annoyed:

    Damn, you’re needy David...

Just realized this pic is dark and useless...
    DDF89E10-F949-43D9-A959-1CBD70482DEE.jpg

As you can see, I cut and ground the cab mount back and into the washer. The firewall is beat back to match. Still rubbage.

Rubs here too, and on the frame. I’m not cutting, grinding, or hammering anymore. It is what it is.

    Pretty.

    Who’s the local TW bookie?

Can we get odds on which wheel gets rock rash first?

I gave up on locals. Not worried about rash, but should have sidewall protection too with 315s

The bronze weren't available this shipment. No way was I waiting until mid May. I ordered 4 matte gunmetal, and the bronze will be my spare.

It’s gonna look weird when you bring that fifth tire into the rotation like you’re supposed to.
