Hey everyone, I have been wanting to get some new subs for my truck and I have doing some research on the JL Stealthbox. It says the box that holds 2 10 inch subs won't fit in a 2012. Have any of you guys tried this product on a newer truck? If so, please help out or recommend other products.

I think it has something to do with the molded plastic in the 12-15. I remember seeing this when I was looking to purchase. I’m sure it would fit if you took the plastic out, but that kind of kills the deal for me because you can buy a box a lot cheaper if your willing to mod. I’m sure you know this, but they do make a plug and play stealthbox with one 10. Probably more than enough for our trucks.

Yeah, the stock 8 inch isn't terrible. I rode with a friend who has a custom setup and was super jealous though lol. I might look into a cheap box that I can mod if needed.
