I am about to pull the trigger soon on a new set of tires and I currently have 275/70 r17 and I want a bigger look but don't want to go 285 cause I don't want to chop cab mount and have the MPG go down even more lol I was considering a 255/80 r17 the only thing is I have a 17x9 inch rim and I'm not sure how well the 255 would fit on the rim. if anyone has pics or has had experiences with these sizes with a 3 inch lift id love to have some tips and opinions, also ive narrowed it down between these 2 tires. Which would you guys go with?

The tire manufacturer website will give you min max and recommended wheel width for a tire size/model
