    Hey All,

I'm in a dilemma... I need new tires for my '04 Tacoma to replace the original Kelley Safari's that came on it. They were 265/75/16E and got over 60K on them. I replaced with Yokohama Geolanders, same size and E rated, but had rubbing on the mudflap and lots of pulling on the highway. I was told they were too aggressive. I then replaced them with Toyo Open Country ATII, but had to go down to size 245/70. I hate them... too small and skinny and very bumpy. I live in Maine and I'm a landscaper, so I often have a yard of material weighing around 2500lbs. Do I need E rated tires? If so, could you recommend a reasonably priced tire that would work for me?

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
you could check out these Falkens, $131 a tire and can handle the 2500 lbs you haul. Go with the SL for better mpg.

the last 265/75's ended up being too big for some reason and rubbed my mudflap when turning the wheel

If your caster on your wheel alignment is on the low side then it can happen for sure, if you can get your caster around 2 or close to that you might not rub. Lots take their front mudflaps off just to avoid that. If you want mudflaps there are some low profile ones made by RockBlokz.

you could try the 265 70 16 Goodyear Duratrac, its only 42 lbs for weight so pretty good, plus looks aggressive. Its just a bit smaller than the 265 75 16
