Northern Virginia Roll Call

Taking the wife and kids to Philadelphia for a the weekend, but not in the Tacoma. Anyone been in the past few years? I haven't been in about 20 or 30 years, so not sure what to expect, except for a really bad parking experience, so we plan on driving to the hotel, and taking the bus hopper around the city. Any tips or tricks for those familiar with the city? My wife's co-worker talked about bringing a cooler so we could go to the meat market since they have a great selection up there. Again, no idea. I'm sure the wife has an agenda of the typical touristy type stuff, but if anyone has some off-the-beaten-path information, I would appreciate it.

 

I cant remember exactly what I was quoted, but it wasn't too bad to actually send them to a rebuild shop in Colorado, have them rebuild them, then send them back.

 

I would It depends on how many days you will actually be away from a Store? Typically you can restock every 2-3 days depending but i would Get something that can hold ice for 4/5 days like an RTIC 45 or 65 or something similar. Unless you are looking to get an actual fridge in bed like an arb or dometic.

 

I would love to have a fridge! but unfortunately the funds aren't there

 

Yeah man actually i think I have a huge double side igloo i had For salmon fishing sitting in my garage rafters you can use as well.

That’s what I was thinking too. I’d need to look into how to do it more but it might not be bad to just do it myself

Maybe upgrade to a yeti or Orca? What was no bueno on the RTIC?

Don't invite this guy...he shows up naked with a camera. Ask @standard he will tell you...and I am pretty sure he tried at one of the meets but his wife yelled at him.
