my F150 EcoBoost Daily gets 24MPG. Now if only i can justify LT as a work expense

Super underated car I think. Can look great with a bit of work and haul serious ass too.

 

agreed. id drive one for sure. mid engine would be plenty of fun too

 

yeah the 2.0l turbo is no slouch either. Plus if it goes back. Swap in a 5vzfe from a tacoma and turbo it and then you are really talking haul ass.

 

i met a guy swapping a lexus v6 in. drive by wire and all.

Hows the transmission? Our principals out our firm have those and although they are nice and have good power and mpgs, 3 out of the 4 have had transmission issues within 30,000 miles.

 

mine is the 10 speed, so far so good. Although it does slam gears once and awhile.

 

I've got a WRX too. I'm moving when I'm not stuck behind slow traffic. I hit 80-100 mph all the time passing on the 2-lane roads I have to take on my commute. My commute is 90 miles round trip if I drive to the office and don't go anywhere else. 100+ miles per day is normal. I average 25-26 mpg.

But this is where it started after I ruined my Tacoma as a daily driver.

1997 2.7L 5-Speed manual 2wd. Awesome daily, this thing ran soooo good for its age. 22mpg no matter how you drive it.

Any of you nerds running a 3.0 coilovers in the rear?
If so what springs?

 

Not I, that’s a big coilover for tacos

 

You would run the same spring rate as a smaller shock. People just typically add a bypass if you need more damping
