Hello I have been given a 2015 Toyota Tacoma to be used as a company vehicle and the seats are horrible
my job expects me to drive long distance in this truck. so i need to know does anyone have any idea of a different better seat i can install
i dont own this truck so dont need recaros or anything....i was hoping to go to the junk yard and pick up a drivers seat from something better
like a Lexus or a Camry ? does anyone know what fits ? any help would be appreciated..thank you

Welcome, get any seat that is comfortable. You can get the rails on-line. We get Mazda seats for about $100 bucks, rails will run around $75. Good luck.

Get one out of a Lincoln town car and weld up some rails. Start looking around junkyards for some comfortable seats. I’ve had custom rails made up for racing seats for less than 100 bucks.

As mentioned, these seats tilt too far back for proper ergonomics. A more level seat spreads the pressure better, and prevents hot spots. You may find a seat you like, only to discover that it is uncomfortable in the Tacoma because of the angle. I have 1 1/2 inches of spacers under the rear seat mounts. In any case, it is an easy and cheap thing to try first.

Yep. Do this first. That's what I did, too, and it worked.

You don't need a kit to do this either. Just a sturdy block, like a piece of steel square tube with a hole through it, and a longer bolt. Make sure the bolt is the same grade as the OEM bolt, and that you have full thread engagement. If you use a 1" block, get a 1" longer bolt. Loosen the front bolts, slip in the blocks and bolts, then tighten everything back down.
