Woke up one morning back in February to find my truck had been broken into and that my wheels and tires had been jacked.
TIP: If you live in a sketchy area where break ins are common, don’t leave your locking lug key in your cab. I found out the hard way.

Lug locks only prevent impatient thieves from stealing your shit. No one is safe nowadays. It's funny (and sad) when I see posts where Honda or Dodge dealerships get wheels stolen off of multiple cars in one night. G/L OP!

Unfortunately most people do leave their lock nut in the car. Can't change a flat tire o the road, if it's sitting at home.

You gotta have a really good hiding spot for it.

The key itself actually fits perfectly inside my tail hitch which is obviously hollow inside. Only way to get my tail hitch off is with a key that’s on my key chain which I keep with me. So if they wanna steal the wheels again they’ll have to break into my apt. which won’t end well for them.
