Well you can call me cheap. Wouldn't spend $100 for the cruise to light up. I can live with it the way it is. Rather put the $100 towards some Husky mats.

It has been in the same spot on all of my previous Tacoma's so I have no issues finding it.

Correct - this isn't about "not being able to find it."

Choose your mods however you'd like. If this one isn't for you, then no need to comment. I am sure there are people like me who are interested to see how it plays out and would like it to be lit - that is what makes this community great.

I think it is a cool Mod and am interested in how it turns out too, you read way too much into my Post to think it was negative.

Yea I know, and I agree it wasn't an issue using or finding it either. I didn't even think about it till I read the post....then driving to work this morning I was like, why isn't that illuminated, and why aren't the stalks either. I don't see me doing anything about it but now I deffinatly notice it.

You know... Incase the buttons ever decide to change themselves. Even if they were lit, from how everything is positions I don’t even think I would see them anyway

I don't use mine enough to know what the buttons are in the dark. I'm interested in this because WHY ISN'T IT ILLUMINATED ALREADY?!

Don't take this as critique on your mod, please keep working on mods.

But, remember when adding cruise control was like $100, with the whole kit including pneumatic servo hooked to the throttle linkage, and driveline speed sensor, and clutch switch.... and everything. Ok, feeling old.

Will probably be the same as adding illumination to other switches. The 4th wire will be hot when you turn the lights on. Just get a little eztap and find your driving lights . . . The Rav 4 has some cool OEM+ mods for the taco. Like the blind spot mirrors too.

I think of myself as having the BCCSM. BlackedOutCruiseControlMod. You know ... for that stealth look.

Blackout package - planned: black bed logos, black wheel vinyls, front seat window tint, tires.
Down is set. Up is resume. In is on/off. Why does it need to be lit?

I had never looked at it until I read this post. You couldn't make the cruise control stalk any more logical to use then it already is. Whats next? Have a light for the seatbelt clip?
