My high rise bed bars lasted just over one year here in Illinois. When I brought it up they pretty much just told me that I live in the rust belt and that they havent had any problems with their stuff rusting. Im just going to have to take the time to sand and repaint them myself and now I know to buy this stuff in bare metal and paint myself from the start. Why pay for powder coating if its going to last one winter.

We've taken care of everybody who was affected, and we've obviously fixed the problem.

Chad, see the above two posts. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say both of your assertions appear to be contradicted.

As someone who is seriously considering buying a rack from you, I'd like to know why both Jeepnick and Brenden are not being taken care of. Or is there a backstory on both of these that you should disclose to potential buyers who may look elsewhere?

KB VooDoo's so-called goodwill warranty is hit or miss, depending on who Chad decides to help. For some, this is what we experience:

Maybe if you made things right with everyone, instead of whom you choose to help, I wouldn't be placed in this situation.

Nothing's wrong with the rack structurally. Use it a ton. Does need another painting again in certain areas. Already repainted it once and probably could have used a few more coats and something to protect the surface when taking the tent off.

I'm just going with a tube set after this. Personally just tired of chasing paint. See my earlier posts in this and other threads

From my perspective, It seems as tho KB is doing everything they can for all the effected customers. That said I don't own anything KB VooDoo and dont really plan on it (no offense) but if you read through most of the posts here or elsewhere on the forum, if there is bad to be said about them it’s quickly followed up with a tactful solution. Except yours. It makes me curious, are you a “never satisfied customer”? Or something along those lines? And again this is just a curiousity question I'm not trying to be a dick.

I’m in the “just paint it, it’s rock solid” boat. But I’ve never been one to stress about the nail polish on my truck, and my truck doesn’t mind, because my truck isn’t a pre teen girl. I would buy KB voodoo.

People in this business have to stress about OCD prima donnas. It’s not worth it.

I’ve seen so many posts and videos about the quality of the powdercoat from kB voodoo which makes me think it’s more then a “bad batch” I emailed him to send me some bare parts so that I could get them linexd but he was unwilling to do that. So lost a sale from me.

I guess I have been slighted, and concerned for others that had problems, because KB VooDoo chooses whom he decides to help. If you don't fit into his circle of friends, you're screwed.

Case in point, when the powdercoat became an issue, he helped the first 2 people having problems. Then, as more powdercoat problems appeared (including mine), he basically said F yourselves, and paint it yourself with no compensation.
Then, after more complaints, the compensation stops, and posts ignored:
So, when the following is said, it is simply not true:
