Seems like the JBA arms are beginning to get more popular on here than the SPCs. I have Freedom Offroad UCAs with no complaints so far. If i spent the extra $ id get the JBAs for sure.

I have camburg on my 4R and had SPC on my Tacoma. Went Camburg (ball joints) so I didn’t need to service every x000mi. Also went with a shocks that didn’t need to be rebuilt every x000mi.

Either one of these ball joint UCAs will do you fine IF you go higher than 2.5”. “Supposdly” if you stay under 2.5” or 3” you “should” get a good alignment with stock UCAs.

If you have the extended travel coilovers you do need the uca to prevent excess wear on the ball joint which will inevitably fail prematurely... Hopefully not while you're driving

You also don't need factory specs to pass revon, all you need is a green sheet and lots of places will take care of that for you if you let them know up front. Lots of us like to run high positive caster, some of us up to 4°. For taco drivers it's mainly for clearance. However, higher caster increases the resistance on the wheel when you turn it, tightening up the feel a little, as well as increasing the return to zero steer

Bajakits are superior in that they use delrin for the bushings. All other aspects are the same and come down to what color and style you like

    Incorrect
There is very little maintenance involved in uniballs... In fact, if you did no maintenance at all, they will still out last any ball joint. When uni's are fully worn, there is less play in it than the best oem ball joint even half worn

I got the forged SPCs, and so far I like 'em. To be fair, I just got my lift done so I don't have hardly any miles on them (350 I think?).

I like how much camber you can get, I got a full 3" lift on my Icons this way and it drives amazingly well!

I'll share my experience with SPC, Fck them. I ran their UCAs worked fine until this happened on the street, mind you. Then they said they had a problem and remedied it. They'd send me a new set, free of charge. New set came in and went up for sale on CL. They knew about an existing problem but did nothing to notify their customers to rectify the situation. So, maybe they'll release one version after another until they get it right.... They aren't exactly a mom and pop operation, this type of negligence is inexcusable.

Like Jason said, spend the money once, get a quality part the first time that will satisfy the needs for your truck.
I ended up going with camburg Uniball UCA, but they do offer a balljoint style. Icon makes one too, but I just don't see myself supporting them after all the scandal at DR with the child porn and stuff.
And every UCA you get will end up squeaking over time, so they will all require maintenance at some point.

Delrin bushings won't squeak like polyurethane... Delrin is a very quiet material, even when dry. It does not require lube but we use it to displace the water to prevent the pin from rotting inside. If you get anything with poly bushings, and you need them replaced with something better, there is a way

What's went on with icon? I need to know if they are not an ethical company to do business with. I tell lots of people they are legit but i would like to hear what you have to say. Child porn is NOT ok!

Not just the bushings, the washers will squeak. It just adds to the squeaky leaf springs, lol.

ICON was created from the employees of Donahou Racing, they are a legit company, but Idk about their roots or who knew what was going on at the time. You can find more info online, but I'd rather just not bother. I was shopping for DR coilovers, when I found they changed to ICON and read all that crap about DRs downfall. And sway-a-way has been bought out by AFE, the intake and now exhaust company.
