    What's guys,

I just bought my 2017 tacoma OR. The salesman told me that the entune system was in it, but it's not. Apparently it's not available in Canada...

My question is, can I install the entune software in my radio? I have the same 7 inches screen radio than the entune one.

Unless you have some crazy things up there... Entune is a phone app you use to link your phone to the truck for all kinds of things. It's not on the head unit.

Are you sure? Because I have the app on my phone but I can't interact with the radio... I've called Toyota Canada to be certain and with my vin number they told me that entune was not on my vehicle...

I was looking forward to the functionality but I have been unsuccessful in making it work.

That suck! I just wanted to have an another gps app then the oem... I've found that there's a company called naviks that do smart phones mirroring systems to install in our tacoma. But I think it's better for apples phone...

I guess we have to make some concessions for living in this beautiful country. All the massive igloo houses are to blame I think.

Do you need to know, or care?
Ya it sucks. We in Canada have some licensing issues that don't allow Entune to be installed here. Toyota needs to work that out.

So you guys don't get the integrated navigation either? I thought all 7" radios had that. You didn't miss anything not getting Scout GPS app, had it in my '16 and it was practically useless, couldn't find places and when it did it wouldn't stay connected!

We have the regular navigation installed. From what I've seen on my phone, scout seemed to be a bit better and more fluid then the oem one
